no issues whatsoever and any benches I ran didn't show any inconsistencies when comparing my system to another of a similar speed. In my experience, the goal in IBT was passing "standard" and it was proof enough for me that I could start using my PC. imo that is much better for your processor than running countless number of high heat stress tests on IBT while trying to get it to pass the more "extreme" test methods. Benchmark results for Intel Core i7-4790K vs. Intel Burn Test generally generates 10C-15C more heat than Prime95. CPU Comparison: Geekbench 5, Cinebench R23, Cinebench R20, R15.
Also make sure you run prime95 in blended or large FFT's mode if you want to do a longer test.

Find out the RTX 3070 equivalent, with a review of specifications, price, RTX 3070 framerate comparison, RTX 3070 rank, and CPU bottlenecks. Download Intel Burn Test and see if it finnishes the 10 standard tests, this is the quickest way to see if its stable. 25 at 4.8 (wasn't crashing), I ran the same test on small ffts and intel burn and would hit tdp in a matter of seconds. If sometime down the road you start seeing instability during real world use then just try to figure out a way to fix it. RTX 3070 benchmark with i7-4790K at Ultra Quality settings in 56 games and fps benchmarks in 1080p, 1440p, and 4K. Well Pretty much get high temps all around on Small FFTs or intel burn at 4.5ghz at 1.13v around 75-80c, but on XTU or blend im seeing 50-60c all 100 load. If it passed "standard/normal" I went on with my life and never had any issues. both no issues after passing the standard test. This was with an i7 920 4ghz ran 24/7 for half a year but couldnt pass the 5th part of the high test yet it ran solid with everything I threw at it and never once crashed, an i5 750 3.6ghz that ran 24/7 and an AMD 720BE at 3.6ghz that ran 24/7.
Also bare in mind some people with the 4790k do get. even with a cheap 50 AIO unit, it was able to do very well, even at max settings.

At stock speed you should be expecting around 60 - 70 with the hyper 212 at full load. To this day I have never had any hard lock ups, freezes, crashes, stutters with any OC I ran that that only passed the "normal" test. At full load on intel burn test with the stock cooler 100 degrees c is possible as intel burn test is extremely intensive but with the hyper 212 you should be getting around 70-80 if you have overclocked it. Maybe I'm not as picky as others but If my OC would pass IBT on Normal then I was happy.
